BlueCat Networks Broadens Footprint in NA

<p><strong>Toronto &mdash; May 10</strong><br />BlueCat Networks, a developer of IPAM, DNS and DHCP appliances, is opening two offices in the United States and expanding two others to address the explosive growth in demand for its line of award-winning Internet protocol address management (IPAM), domain name system (DNS), dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) appliances. </p><p>New offices are now open in Dallas and Redwood City,&nbsp; Calif., and the company&rsquo;s New York and Atlanta offices have been expanded to accommodate additional staff.<br /><br />Organizations in these markets have been aggressive adopters of BlueCat Networks&rsquo; next-generation IPAM and DNS/DHCP appliances, particularly in the education, financial, telecommunications, ISP, government and retail<br />services sectors, where network uptime, security, reliability and performance of mission-critical IP networks are crucial.<br /><br />Companies of all sizes are recognizing the need for effective IPAM &mdash; new IP devices are being added to networks on a daily basis and as a result, networks are becoming increasingly complex to manage. </p><p>This, in turn, is dramatically increasing demand for BlueCat Networks&rsquo; Proteus IPAM appliance, which together with the Adonis family of DNS/DHCP appliances, is meeting the needs of customers globally.<br /><br />&quot;Demand for IPAM and DNS/DHCP appliances has never been greater, and by growing our organization we can more effectively meet the significant commitments we have made to our customers,&quot; said Michael Hyatt, BlueCat Networks CEO. &quot;Just a couple of quarters ago, we opened offices in Manhattan and Atlanta.
