<p><strong>Davenport, Iowa &mdash; July 3</strong><br />Compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations is a vitally important issue &mdash; OSHA can fine businesses and even close them down for violating safety regulations. </p><p>To help businesses meet their safety objectives and learn more about OSHA compliance, American Safety Training Inc., a safety train-the-trainer company, holds &ldquo;Essentials of Safety&rdquo; courses nationwide.</p><p>It has released its two- and four-day course schedule for August and September 2007.<br />&nbsp;<br />&ldquo;If you are responsible for employee health and safety or for workplace practices that must comply with OSHA regulations, our courses offer the vital information you need,&rdquo; said Benjamin Mangan, American Safety Training, Inc. president.<br /><br />Participants can attend for two or four days. </p><p>Two-day attendees who meet the course&rsquo;s learning requirements earn American Safety Training&rsquo;s 14-hour training card, which exceeds the requirements of OSHA&rsquo;s 10-hour card. </p><p>Four-day attendees who meet learning requirements earn a 30-hour training card, indicating they have received this necessary, in-depth training. </p>
