Albany Hires Senior VP of Global Alliances
<p><strong>Fort Lauderdale, Fla. — Oct. 31</strong><br />Albany, a global provider of contingent workforce management services, has hired Chris Mortonson as senior vice president of global alliances, services and solutions. Mortonson will be responsible for expanding Albany's global solutions across various sectors including staffing and recruitment, consulting and software to serve the needs of Fortune 1000 companies.<br /><br />”In an increasingly global economy, as the talent war intensifies, Albany is well positioned to deliver a broad range of scalable workforce solutions for clients and partners on five continents,” said Mortonson.<br /><br />Mortonson has more than 25 years of experience spanning the financial services, global staffing, consulting and software technology industries. His background spans the entire talent management life cycle, with a focus on HR outsourcing, global workforce management, supply chain management and strategies for flexible workforces and contingent labor programs.<br /><br />”Chris is a proven leader in human capital management, information technology and the staffing industry,” said Martin Glick, chief executive officer of Albany. “His leadership and background will be a positive addition to the Albany global management team.”<br /><br />Mortonson has previously lived in Japan and has traveled extensively throughout the world. He has a master's degree in business and is a Navy veteran, carrier pilot and graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. </p>
