Philadelphia — Jan. 19
Web host 1&1 Internet Inc. launched a new service for businesses that delivers search engine advertisements, and says it offers a guaranteed performance. Available from $199 per month, the 1&1 Advertising Package is a point-and-click solution for online marketing that generates predetermined levels of traffic to a Web site. 1&1 designs and implements campaigns using customized keywords, and coordinates Google advertisements for the customer.

The 1&1 Advertising Package has been developed to address the online marketing ambitions of smaller enterprises with limited experience and resources. Available to 1&1 hosting customers, the new service creates and manages sponsored links on Google on their behalf. The 1&1 Advertising Package combines Google Adwords technology with 1&1’s marketing agents to deliver Google advertising. Web site owners purchase a set traffic level, by the number of clicks per month, and provide 1&1 with their URL. 1&1 agents then review the customer’s Web site and set up Google campaigns accordingly. 1&1 monitors and modifies each campaign until all clicks have been achieved.

Any unused clicks at the end of a month are refunded accordingly. Upon setup, the service requires no additional cost or time from the user.

“With all of our advertising packages customers have the benefit of a set online marketing budget and the expertise of 1&1 marketing agents to design and implement the campaign,” said Oliver Mauss, CEO of 1&1 Internet. “We’ve worked to make the process easy for the customer, who is guaranteed performance with no effort, at a great price.”
